How often you buy a food magazines? Seldom? Frequent? Always? Well, this question will tell you how you deal with foods. We all know that foods are generally the basic needs of people around the world. Without these, how can you manage to live? Anyway, this is not the topic that I want to emphasize. If you are on a restaurant, maybe you notice the various photographs encompasses inside the vicinity. You may see photographs hanged on the wall. Some are just printed out and served as the menu list. Of these photos, you may see that the foods are well attractive and so good and yummy to eat. Yes, you are not just about to eat, but before you do so, you must first starting to confuse. What to buy? What to eat? What will I choose among these foods? All of them are looks delicious! In food photography, you must establish a well abundant source of lights. When you shoot the food, always consider the ambiance most especially when your background is not good enough. When you are shooting on the kitchen, always expose the food in low light source. Meaning to say, small amount of light will be better that bursting out the light that will overcast the exposure or the realness of the food.

Meanwhile, when you are shooting outdoor and exposing the food right below under the abundant sunlight, better to off the flash. Instead, make the sunlight be the primary source of your light. Always remember that, natural light is always better than of that the artificial lights.

On the other hand, when you are shooting on the spot occasion, always consider the noise. Sometimes, noise will triggers the concentrations or focus of the camera, that's why outputs are blurry. To fix the blur, you may use Photoshop or other photo editing software to correct the blur effects.

Why tripod is the second tip that I place here? Well, have you shoot photos during the midst of well tempered situation? If so, maybe you encounter the sluggish output of the photo. Another reason is that, not all human hands are fixed and free of triggers or shakes.

To control such situation, using tripods are highly recommended. Most especially, tripods are better on shooting for macros. The more steady the camera, the more focus on the objects are established. Tripods sought to be effective during occasions, but always bear in mind to place it meters away from the people on the occasion to avoid unintentional touches. Most of all, use tripod only, of course, when really necessary. Some tripods are heavy.

Have you ever notice that when you are looking the foods on the magazine, they are so amazing and so delicious to eat! But, not so looks like on reality? Yes, you are about tricked by the arrangement of the foods. Basically, food photography is established to attract customers to buy and eat the served foods using the magic of perfect food arrangement.

Always arrange the food on its finest look if possible. Consider the angles and views. When you are about to attract the customers through its flavor, always shoot the tasty part of the food. You can do that in some specialized cameras but not in auto model cameras. You can also use computer to enhance the effects using an specialized software.

When you shoot the food on macro, always remember to make sure that your hands are not so shaky, so that, the focus will generate vivid effects.
